WE ARE IN SAFE PLACE

He was pleased with me, so he rescued me. He took me to a safe place.

Psalms 18:19 ERV

This is one of the verses that makes me leap with ecstatic joy. Psalms 119:131 ERV says, “ My desire to hear your commands is so strong that I wait with open mouth, gasping for breath.” Three things about our theme verse: first, God is pleased with us, secondly, He personally rescued us and thirdly, He Himself placed us in a safe place.

Ponder this; if God was delighted with us even when we were nothing, how about now we are His beloved, His delights. Romans 5:10 ERV says, “ I mean that while we were God’s enemies, he made friends with us through his Son’s death. And the fact that we are now God’s friends makes it even more certain that he will save us through his Son’s life.”

Think of what it means that the Almighty Himself rescued us from sickness, failures, hardships and all that hates us. Colossians 1:13 ERV says, “God made us free from the power of darkness. And he brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” We are no longer under the power of darkness but rather placed under the power of Christ, the safest place in the world!

Let us live from this mindset
