LET CHRIST BE THE GLORY OF YOUR STRENGTH III

Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.
John 8:54 NIV
The Lord said in John 17:4 NIV, “ I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.” The Lord has glorified us with the same glory He has glorified God with, the finished work of the cross. John 17:22 NIV says, “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one”
So our glory is not defined by our earthly circumstances rather by the finished work of the cross.
God does not define us today by our earthly circumstances rather by the finished work of the cross. “ But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 NIV)
Our own part is to look past our earthly circumstances and set our eyes on the finished work of the cross. The Lord said that in John 16:33 NIV, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
We move our minds away from the troubles of this world to what Christ said, “I have overcome the world.” OUR circumstances might not appear great, but we remain brave for Christ has overcome for us. Let us learn to surrender to His glory, His finished work of His cross.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE IN SELF DENIAL, FOR CHRIST TO ƁE OUR SOURCE OF GLORY! IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
