DO NOT BEG GOD FOR MERCY

Then the son said, ‘Father, I was wrong. I have sinned against you. I could never deserve to be called your son. Just let me be—’ “The father interrupted and said, ‘Son, you’re home now!’
Luke 15:21 TPT
Never beg God for what He has already given you, especially His mercy, instead receive it boldly whenever you want it with thanksgiving to God for making us heirs of His mercy. In our theme verse, notice how the father interrupted the prodigal son when he came back to the Father with His rehearsed speech: ‘Son, you’re home now!’ I had such an encounter with God years ago when I used to beg God for mercy and even sing it . He allowed it for some time after which the Holy Spirit interrupted me to change it by putting songs of praise and thanks into my mouth, instead of those of mercy and sympathy.
Many children of God are not living as heirs of God because they don't know they have been forgiven, they don't understand God's righteousness. Hebrews 5:13 says they are still babies, spiritual minors. Galatians 4:1 TPT says,
“As long as an heir is a minor, he’s not really much different than a servant, although he’s the master over all of them.”If you are one of those , quit begging for mercy and boldly before God and receive all the help in times of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
The Lord said that servants are not permanent members of the family, they are not heirs, but sons are. (John 8) Imagine how the father received his prodigal son, “From a long distance away, his father saw him coming, dressed as a beggar, and great compassion swelled up in his heart for his son who was returning home. The father raced out to meet him, swept him up in his arms, hugged him dearly, and kissed him over and over with tender love.” (Luke 15:20 TPT)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE AS HEIRS OF GOD'S MERCY AND NOT AS SERVANTS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
